Dr. Laure Matsoukis is a Finance Expert, Educator, and Entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, financial education, and entrepreneurship. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance and an M.Sc. in Finance from Université Paris-Dauphine, an MIM from EDHEC Business School, and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard.
Dr. Matsoukis has an extensive international background, having worked in Europe, Asia, and the USA across both academic and corporate sectors. She began her career as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, specializing in corporate treasury and financial risk management, before transitioning to research and academia. She has held teaching positions at institutions such as Université Paris Sciences & Lettres (France), Grenoble Ecole de Management (France), Saint John Fisher College (USA), and the State University of New York (USA). She currently teaches Introduction to Finance (BSBA level) and International Finance (MIBA level) at the American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. Her courses cover financial decision-making, corporate finance, risk management, and international financial markets.
In addition to her academic roles, Dr. Matsoukis is the Founder of Koenig Financial Education and LMK Training, two companies dedicated to providing tailored financial education and strategic consulting for financial institutions, SMEs, and startups. She has helped over 400 businesses worldwide navigate financial challenges, optimize capital structures, and improve strategic decision-making.
