Dr. Neto is an accomplished economist with two Master’s degrees—one in Mathematical
Economics and Econometrics, and another in Banking, Money, and Finance—along with a
Ph.D. in Economics from the University Paris I Sorbonne. He has served as a Senior Economic
Affairs Officer at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and,
from 2004 to 2010, worked as a senior researcher in economics and econometrics at the
University of Geneva. Currently, he consults for international organizations and lectures in
economics.
