Dr. Liubov ZHAROVA

Dr. Liubov Zharova is a Doctor of Science in Economics and currently serves as the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at the University of Economics and Humanities in Poland. She is also a professor at Ukrainian-American Concordia University in Ukraine. Dr. Zharova graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and holds a Doctor of Science degree in Economics of Nature Management and Environmental Protection.

She has collaborated with a range of prominent organizations, including the State Fund for Fundamental Research of Ukraine, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine. Additionally, she has served as an expert on Polish-Ukrainian relations at the New Europe Institute in Poland and worked as a project manager and moderator at iHub (Ukraine), focusing on initiatives related to veteran reintegration and start-up support.

Dr. Zharova moderates the course "Enabling a Green Transition in Eastern Partnership Countries" for UNEP, UNITAR, and UN:CC:Learn. She also develops and leads the course on "Sustainable Development for Civil Governance."

Passionate about sustainable development, she is currently focused on advancing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social, and Responsible Disclosure (ESRD) reporting.
