Specialization in Data Analytics and AI for Business
Application Deadline:
June 15 (EU/EFTA)
July 15 (International)
Dual Swiss and US Master of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Data Analytics and AI for Business
Introduction
The Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration – Specialisation in Data Analytics & AI for Business is a three‑way collaboration between:
- AUS Business School (American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland) – core international business and management
- Tiffin University – applied data analytics
- Helvetic Institute of Technology – artificial intelligence and programming
In one integrated program, students study how organizations work (AUS), how to turn data into insight (Tiffin), and how to build and deploy AI solutions (HIT). This creates graduates who can move confidently between executive discussions, analytical work, and technical AI conversations—exactly where modern business decisions are made.
You will move beyond the limitations of traditional classroom learning through a 1:7 faculty-to-student ratio that guarantees you personalized coaching and mentorship from business visionaries who have successfully navigated the same challenges you will face. This program focuses on your immediate ROI by integrating advanced data analytics methodologies, business intelligence tools, and statistical modeling with the essential leadership and strategic planning skills that modern data-driven organizations demand. Whether you are looking to lead analytics teams, drive digital transformation initiatives, or manage enterprise data strategy, this two-year intensive program provides the industry links, real-world research, and international accreditation needed to ensure you graduate not just with a diploma, but with a proven professional edge.

These courses strengthen students’ ability to design data models, work with complex datasets, apply statistical and analytical methods, and present results effectively. Within the overall tripartite structure, Tiffin’s role is to provide applied data analytics expertise that connects the business foundation from AUS Business School with the AI and technology focus delivered by the Helvetic Institute of Technology.
Helvetic Institute of Technology program description
The Helvetic Institute of Technology is the technology and AI specialist in this three-way collaboration and contributes the Artificial Intelligence specialization. Through courses in applied artificial intelligence, applied machine learning, principles of large language models, and applied programming for artificial intelligence with Python, students gain the technical foundations required to design and implement AI systems.
HIT’s role in the program is to ensure that students both understand AI concepts and work hands-on with AI tools, models, and programming. Together with the business curriculum from AUS Business School and the analytics curriculum from Tiffin University, the HIT component completes the
Dual Swiss and US Degree Program
The Master of Science in Business Administration (MIBA) program at AUS is exclusively offered as a Dual Degree Program (DDP) in collaboration with Tiffin University (TU) in the US. This partnership ensures that all enrolled MSc students will graduate with both a Master of Science in International Business Administration from AUS and a Master of Business Administration from TU.
In order to receive dual degrees, students must successfully complete the required AUS and TU courses. The curricula are mixtures of AUS and TU courses designed to provide students with the maximum exposure to the necessary knowledge and skills for the future workplace, emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, research technologies, and multimodal communication methods. The TU programs are offered both in person and online with videos, discussion rooms, readings, and other assignments. For online classes, AUS students will be in the same class as TU students, thus enabling interaction.
Students will take both AUS and TU courses to complete their required coursework. AUS courses will be taught on campus and TU courses both on campus and remotely, with the option of student exchanges to either university under certain conditions.
When a master’s student successfully completes the DDP, the student will graduate, in their chosen specialty, with a MSc in Business Administration from AUS and a MBA from TU.
Tiffin University has US Higher Learning Commission accreditation, which is recognized by most ministries of education.
