Dual Degree with Tiffin University
The American University in Switzerland (AUS) and Tiffin University (TU), Tiffin, OH have entered into a new partnership, allowing AUS students to obtain a dual degree from both institutions.

The partnership offers bachelor's and master's degrees in business with multiple specialization options. To receive the dual degrees, AUS students must successfully complete the required AUS curriculum and TU specialty courses. The TU programs will be online with video, discussion rooms, readings and other assignments, as well as in a hybrid format with some instruction provided on AUS's campus.
IATA Authorized Training Center
The American University in Switzerland is proud to be recognized as an official IATA Authorized Training Center.

Offering a degree with a specialization in Aviation Management and specific IATA certified training courses enables students to gain expert industry knowledge from a global organization in air transport. Courses available to students will complement the AUS curriculum and give real-industry insight to support academic knowledge.

Topics such as Air Transport Fundamentals provide an overview of the air transportation system and illustrate the interdependencies among its various components, and Aviation Security Awareness, which looks at introducing security measures and regulations to keep the industry safe.

This opportunity provides students a real advantage when seeking employment by showcasing their expertise and applied knowledge through gaining industry-recognized certifications.

AUS Winter Term 2020 Icebreaker

On Thursday, January 23rd, AUS students and staff reunited in Villeneuve for the start of the Winter Term icebreaker. It was another opportunity for all to unite in a casual and fun-filled setting. Cultures mingled and conversations flowed around drinks and snacks – a moment to talk about winter vacation, goals for the term, and upcoming activities.
The town of Villeneuve provides a great opportunity for entertainment with its laser game maze. The location is a multi-levelled dark room with special effects such as black lights, smoke, techno music, and other effects designed to disorient the players.
AUS formed two teams: a red team, and a blue team. Each team enjoyed three games, of a duration of 20 minutes each.
It was a tight match, but the red team finally became the proud winners of the event Another successful afternoon out.
Upcoming event: February 6th – Open House with guest speakers Suzanne Godfrey (Luxury Management Specialist), Cyrus Fazel (CEO and founder of SwissBorg), and Kirill Khitrov (Deputy Head of Lynceus).
