AUS receives positive remarks from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE)

From 6−8 November 2023, AUS hosted a team nominated by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), for the re-accreditation of the AUS Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and Master of Science in Business Administration (MIBA), as well as the initial accreditation of the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA). The delegation comprised of: Dr. Archish Maharaja — Director of Graduate Programs (Rowland School of Business, Point Park University), Dr. Ann Saurbier — Dean (Gary E. West College of Business, West Liberty University), and Observer: Dr. Ignacio Cordova — Jr. College Dean (College of Business and Accountancy, Our Lady of Fatima University). The team was also supported by Laurie Yates, Accreditation Specialist with IACBE.

Throughout the three days of the remote visit, the accreditation panel conducted meetings with AUS management, faculty, students, and external stakeholders. The visit concluded with a few preliminary observations of the panel, which commended our institution for its approach to practical education, use of case studies in teaching approaches, student professional development efforts through industry visits, as well as the dedication and commitment of all AUS faculty members and administrative staff.
