Strengthening International Ties – Tiffin University Delegation Visits AUS

AUS was delighted to host a distinguished delegation from Tiffin University on their trip to Switzerland from June 18-20. The delegation included Peter Holbrook, Provost; Thomas Marben, Dean of the Business School; Ron Lonzo, Vice President of Enrollment and Recruitment; and Melissa Weininger, Vice Provost of Academic and Student Success. The primary purpose of their visit was to deepen the existing relationship between our institutions and to operationalize a recent agreement that will see all AUS students enrolled in a dual degree program with Tiffin University. This strategic partnership is set to provide our students with unparalleled educational opportunities, combining the strengths of Swiss precision and American innovation.

MIBA (Healtcare specialization) student at AUS

“As a student, I was grateful to have the chance to voice my concerns. It is clear that the Tiffin administrative team is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that all their students worldwide are acknowledged and valued, and for that, I am honored to be a member of that community.”
The TU delegation held several productive meetings with the AUS administration and leadership teams. These discussions focused on aligning our academic programs, enhancing student recruitment and joint marketing efforts, and exploring new avenues for collaboration. The delegation also had the opportunity to meet with our dedicated faculty and students, fostering a deeper understanding of our campus community. Our guests were treated to a tour of the stunning Villars Alpine Resorts, where they learned about the Villars Palace Academy, a prestigious two-year hospitality program. The visit concluded with a delightful dinner at Villars Palace, offering breathtaking views of the Swiss landscape. This experience highlighted the unique blend of academic excellence and natural beauty that defines the AUS experience. The following day, the delegation explored the historic Chillon Castle, immersing themselves in Swiss culture and history. The day ended with a memorable dinner at the Montreux Casino, providing a perfect setting to reflect on the visit and discuss future initiatives.
