AUS Research Team Launches an Exciting New Academic Year!

As the academic year kicks off at AUS, our research team is thrilled to share some exciting updates. We’re proud to announce the release of a brand-new book hot off the press, titled "Cases on Traveler Preferences, Attitudes, and Behaviors: Impact in the Hospitality Industry." Published by IGI Global in August 2023, this insightful book is now available for purchase on its official website here, as well as through leading online bookshops and retailers. You can also find it in numerous libraries worldwide.

"Cases on Traveler Preferences, Attitudes, and Behaviors," expertly edited by Dr. Giuseppe Catenazzo, Head of Research at AUS, presents a curated collection of research-based studies contributed by scholars from around the globe, spanning from Argentina to Europe and India. This comprehensive work aims to highlight research methodologies for academics and practitioners, offering valuable insights into topics ranging from destinations and rural areas to social impacts and tourism management. It is an excellent resource for industry professionals, policymakers, researchers, academics, scholars, practitioners, instructors, and students.

Additionally, don’t miss the chance to explore Dr. Aleksandra Zając's captivating chapter titled "Attitudes of Tourists Towards Hoteliers' Aid for Refugees From Ukraine in Krynica-Zdrój: A Case Study," found on pages 148−165.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! We’re actively engaged in international publication projects, so stay tuned for more updates soon.

On September 22nd, Dr. Giuseppe Catenazzo presented a groundbreaking research study as part of a larger project at the 1st International Scientific Conference on Economics, Management, and Information Technologies (#ICEMIT) organized by the Toplica Academy of Applied Sciences in Blace, Serbia. Dr. Catenazzo’s involvement extended to the international scientific committee, contributing to the success of this esteemed global research event.

For all the aspiring young researchers out there, mark your calendars for October 20th as the AUS Research Team is excited to host AWYR 2023: AUS Autumn Online Workshop for Young Researchers. This multidisciplinary event offers a unique opportunity for young scholars to convene at the beginning of the academic year, sharing and refining their research ideas. Seasoned experts will engage with participants in small groups, providing valuable feedback to help shape these ideas into impactful publications. To participate, submit a 250-word research abstract by October 16th. Further details and registration can be found here.

Lastly, keep an eye out for our upcoming research activities leaflet, which will provide comprehensive information on all our activities, submission deadlines, and much more. This promises to be a dynamic year for research at AUS, and we look forward to sharing it with you!
