A new report shows Switzerland to be #1 safest country in the world for Covid-19

Switzerland has been named the safest country in the world for Covid-19, with Germany second. This is the conclusion of a global study by Deep Knowledge Group published in Forbes Magazine.

The study ranked 200 countries into four tiers of coronavirus safety. In the first tier, there were 20 countries from Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Oceania including Australia, Israel, Germany and of course, Switzerland.

The authors of the study stated that “Switzerland and Germany achieve the #1 and #2 positions in this special new case study specifically because of their economy’s resilience, and due to the careful ways in which they are attempting to relay lockdown and economic freezing mandates in a fact and science-based manner, without sacrificing public health and safety.”

We are delighted to hear this news and are looking forward to welcoming new and returning students back on-campus in September for the new academic year.
