The American Institute in Switzerland collaborates with Tiffin University in the United States of America

The American Institute in Switzerland (AUS) and Tiffin University (TU), Tiffin, OH have entered into a new partnership, allowing AUS students to obtain a dual degree from both institutions.
The partnership offers bachelor's and master's degrees in business with multiple specialization options. To receive the dual degrees, AUS students must successfully complete the required AUS curriculum and TU specialty courses. The TU programs will be online with video, discussion rooms, readings and other assignments, as well as in a hybrid format with some instruction provided on AUS's campus.
David Larson, Academic Dean of AUS, said, "Our team is excited by the opportunity for our students to earn a TU degree while attending AUS, and for TU students to take AUS courses as well. It really is the best of both worlds in preparing our students for the global marketplace."
Peter J. Holbrook, TU's Provost, said, "We are excited that this partnership will allow AUS students to be in the same class as TU students and provides students with a cross cultural experience. AUS students will also have a possibility to study on-campus at Tiffin University."
"Both institutions are members of the European Council for Business Education (ECBE), which is how we met and began conversations about a partnership several years ago," said Dr. Teresa Shafer, TU's Executive Dean of Institutional Affairs. "I'm thrilled that our work is paying off with formal approval of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) to recognize AUS as an additional location for TU. As the partnership grows, we're expecting both faculty and student exchanges to take place, as well as collaborative research projects among our faculties."
