Sam Tarn

Born in London but raised on the rugged (and rainy) north coast of Devon, Sam Tarn was originally a journalist but was tempted to 'the dark side' of marketing as a copywriter. During that time, he worked on brands like BP, Castrol, Wrigley, Intel, Jagermeister, Bonne Maman, and dozens more.

He also helped numerous brands find their social voice back in the early, wild west days of Facebook and Twitter, which was good preparation for his next move - to Switzerland, where he managed the corporate digital channels of UEFA - the governing body of European football. Here, he helped grow UEFA's channels from less than 500k followers to more than 4 million by increasing the volume, quality, and creativity of the content across all channels, while working with elite clubs and players on campaigns that were seen all over the globe. Sam Tarn is now back in the UK, enjoying life as a freelance consultant, offering creative, content, copy, and communications expertise to brands like LEGO, FIFA, UEFA, and more.
