Safety, Security, and Risk Management Conference

SSRM

Safety, Security & Risk Management Conference & Workshop

11−12 December 2023

100% online

Event Hashtag #SSRM23

We would like to invite you to the 1st edition of an international workshop and online conference on Safety, Security, and Risk Management. We would like to make it an annual event where scholars and professionals can meet, share their insights, and get inspired to advance their practice and research on Safety, Security, and Risk Management. The fully online mode facilitates participants worldwide to join the SSRM community.

As a business school, our starting point is risk management: Dealing with risks effectively makes businesses survive and prosper. Risk management involves proper risk identification, analysis, evaluation, mitigation, and control.

We are interested in gathering ongoing or fresh research on risk management in various contexts, such as private and governmental organizations and non-profits. We welcome multiple perspectives and methodologies.

We would like SSRM to be an interdisciplinary event, and we are happy to welcome scholars and professionals from various backgrounds, e.g. engineers, lawyers, social and political scientists, and others. We associate the term "safety" with eliminating the occurrence of injury, danger, or loss. Hence, we are interested and invite papers tackling topics such as health and safety policies in workplaces, training of crews and workers, insurance, providing customers with safe products, services and infrastructure, environment-friendly solutions, and more. As for "security", we would like to give space to insightful elaboration on contemporary social threats and new phenomena that can be considered challenging to social stability and sustainability. These could make fantastic opportunities for new product and service development and implementation. We welcome papers that address problems and suggest solutions.
